Who this is for
This page covers candidates taking a LitMetrics assessment. If you're a hiring manager using LitMetrics to evaluate candidates, our standard SaaS terms apply — contact support@litmetrics.ai for those.
What we capture during your assessment
- Your written answers, code, and chat messages with the AI assistant.
- Behavioral signals from your browser tab.
- Webcam photos and videos, but only if your specific assessment has proctoring enabled by the hiring team. When enabled, low-resolution captures are taken during the assessment.
Why we capture it
To produce a fair, evidence-based hiring evaluation that helps both you and the hiring team.
Who sees it
Your assessment data is shared with the hiring team at the organization you're applying to. LitMetrics staff have limited access to debug technical issues. We never sell candidate data, and we never share it with third parties beyond the hiring team you're applying to.
How long we keep it
- Assessment answers, code, and behavioral signals: kept for up to 12 months while the hiring team reviews.
- Webcam photos: auto-deleted after 90 days.
Your rights
- Decline.If you don't want to be proctored, close the assessment tab. Your session won't proceed and no photos are captured.
